Hi, ive not got many pics from the day, although there will be a dvd available soon when my mate gets around to putting it onto disc.
Its in this months mag anyway.
W.P.E are still going, Wayne who builds the engine's has teamed up with another guy called Kev and they are doing pretty well i think, building old fords up for people. The white mk1 holds the record at nurburg for quickest aspirated mk1 escort around the track, its in the low 8 minute area i think, which isnt bad for what it is. And Mick who owns it is 63 or 64 years old and drives like a loon lol

few pics of my old mk2 and my current mk2 4dr. not in the same league as most of the stuff on here but still fun to drive/own.
i had the blue 1 about a year ago and had to sell as lost my garage. was a standard 1.3 when i got it so lowered it 2 inchs on some 7 inch superlights put some mex spoilers on it and dropped a 2ltr pinto in it. it went ok.
bought the black one about 4 month ago and to be honest i know its a 4dr but it is twice as good as my blue one. its a 1.6 ghia and ive just added some mex spoilers lowered it 1.5 inchs and put some 7x14 weller steelies on it. still running a 1.6 xflow at the mo which isnt much slower than wot the pinto was in the blue 1.
plans are if i keep it long enough i might drop a 2ltr zetec in there
