About the arches,it's done with special tools
Ask some garage that repairs cars (I don't know how to explain )

Little update!

I've put my Snapp-off on and the 30cm Isotta steeringwheel.





Now I will finish the interior for the audio etc.


It needs a couple of weeks work before I finish it.


And washed the RS

I'm busy again with the RS.The motor is out and the enginebay will be painted soon.
Some more things will be new,but that's next time.

Some progress here!
Soon the RS will be painted again.
Also next week I get the motor back from revisie (don't know how you say that in English)

 

That is quite simply the cleanest and best looking MK5 RS2000 I've ever seen. Had a good look at it at EFE in 2007, loved it! Quality!

The whole car was great when you were at the concours at EFE 2007 except for the enginebay and interior. Not that is was looking bad but the rest of the car was just a bit better.

Now with the interior ready and the bay in progress it will be kicking arse next year

Last saterday I picked up the RS from the painter.
A lot of work has done,some detail-work
Also the motor is brand new after a motor overhaul.
Now I'm busy with trying to connecting all plugs etc.
I will post some pic's from the motor when everything is finished!

Thought I read somewhere that it is the third weekend of august??

The clear headlights were an option then,so I don't know
if you can order them now?

you could contact the xrrs-club holland.
every year there are some people from the club that go across see.
they have a place to crash down. each year Gerard van Schooten was managing this.
don't know for sure if he is the person that is doing it this year again but there will be somebody from the club.

the website of fordfair is www.fordfair.co.uk but I think there is not much information on it already for 2009.
tickets and so on can be purchaded from this site.
