Well i finally got the old taxi back!
Still a few things need finished - waiting for the rear passenger rubbing strip to be delivered and the front bumper is being redone as the paint reacted. Should hopefully have the bumper middle of next week.
Some photos when we picked it up.
Took the car back to Mark's and got a few stupid jobs done, fitted replacement rear speakers, new light gaskets and waxoiled the front and up the chassis legs.
Also changed the rocker cover to a blue one, excuse the dust in the bay, its from the bodyshop!
Waiting for my graham goode header tank, so i can fit the graham goode swirl pot and do some aeroquipping
One of the two sheds togther - Marks is enginless at the moment.
Have to say a massive thank you to Mark for trekking the whole way to portaferry to trailer the car home for me!

Thought i'd update this as the car is nearly finished.
Firstly some pics of it all back together -
However it needs to go back to get this fixed
Happened while on a trailer
I also lost the front passenger jacking cover while having the fuelling checked (140+ mph on a private test road
), I've a new one ordered, just waiting on it to arrive.
Also fitted this, my new 044 pump
Need to get another cradle and powdercoat it though...
I've done a few bits to the engine bay as well, i'll get pics of it at the weekend.
The car sailed through its MOT as well

Yes, mine's staying now Paul, had little interest tbh and i managed to talk the misses round into keeping it..
I realised after Sunday what a silly mistake i would/was making even thinking of selling...

I went all bufty at National Day and bought this
Thought they would be nice for the shows...
Got lots of bits to fit this weekend - Vibratechnic engine mounts, new mocal oil cooler take off with an 80 oc thermostat (my oil runs too cold at the moment), better gauge takeoff solution, new inlet gaskets and some roose coolant hoses in blue.
Also got a Reyland front diff plate. Hopefully it means the front diff will last a little longer
