Hi, I've just joined the website and I'm quite interested in using Photoshop.
Could anyone tell me the software that i'd have to purchase.

well the latest photoshop programme is adobe photoshop cs3, its about £450-£500

yh the new one is just over £400 but if your just getting into it i wouldn't bother to spend that. I use quite an old version and it still does the stuff i want it to. If you want a decent package i would recommend this which is great value for money:

Also, if you use Limewire or BitTorrent then you can download the software from someone else sharing it which is what i've done. If you do, make sure you get one with a serial number and activation codes etc.
