Default My Sapphire 4x4 Cosworth

Well i sold my black 3dr in March as i was bored of Cossie's having owned one on & off since 1996 but i went and bought another Cossie a few weeks ago, don't know why already getting grief off the Mrs for it taking up room in the garage going to have a bit of fun in it & then sell it in a couple of months to keep her happy !!!!

It was featured in Fast Ford Sept 2004 & 1st owner had it from 1991 - 2005 & spent £36000 on it, iv'e got bills totaling £41500 from the 2 owwers, mad

Painted the cam cover today as it was really bad with paint flaking off.

Engine spec is GGR built around a new 200 block,7.5:1 comp, RS500 8 injector plenum & throttle body, touring car spec cylinder head, mappable water injection,T35, 8 standard dark blues, verniers,GGR grp A breather kit,Pectel loom,Pectel 10 stage boost controller, genuine WRC headgasket.

Brakes:

AP 330mm front brake kit

drilled & grooved standard size rear discs

Brake bias valve for front to adj

Switch to turn ABS off

Gearbox has shotpeened internals but has been rebuilt 5 times in its life !

Just spent the last few weeks tidying it up as the last owner negleted it a bit, got some Ahmed Bajoo springs to fit next week, wheels going for a refurb & then going to get it setup as don't think its been done for a while. One good thing is it has full service history from new 2 fully stamped books, 1st service by Ford & then Collins engineering to 1997 & 1997 to 2007 was Graham Goode with no service missing at all quite rare on Cossie i should imagine to have proper history at 124000 miles

Cheers Simon.
