I heard from the owners own mouth - davie jones that he felt the RS200 was faster hence why he has kept it

The top pic is my friend paddy on the CBR - he even managed to flick davie the V before going on to win on their run together - beat it pretty consistanty.

Fastest time I ever saw and i saw it run many times was low 11s on real timing gear - never saw it in the 10s and nobody local to the car at the time has a clue where the 10 sec time that crail reported came from on a private day

Tiss an absolute awesome car though and never seen it get a proper launch as it always looks too hard and crail has crap traction so there should be a lot more time in the car Never saw it launch clean like say rocket ron etc if you know what I mean.

Hope your first purchase is some airfilters deano! And v jealous of your purchase!

Well to address your first point of course the RS200 would " Feel " faster
Its an awful lot lighter and a much smaller car altogether , and with 703bhp its not bloody slow is it ??
so yet again of course the car would " feel " quicker doesnt mean it is though

For the second point , since buying this car Ive been contacted by several different people who are no relation from the next to say that theyve seen the car do a 10.4 run at crail , not only that Kevin Sharp who posts here spoke to the owner of crail and even he`s seen it do a 10.8
Dont forget this was done on a shite surface and standard H pattern shift gearbox with modified OSGiken internals ( not dog box engagement either ) so when I fit the sequential gearbox to and take it to Avon park Im certainly going for high 9s

The way i saw it, if it was worth 100k then got sold for 50k or whatever, in 10 years time i might be able to afford it

I Doubt that in 10 years time, that the super duper fly as fuck lemonaid skyline will got down to 10K...unless of course it blows up or sumpin' but don't see that happin' either..stick to the lotto dream! LOL

 

I only have them in 35mm format, as i didn't bring along my digital camera. My scanner is at my parents house..which isn't to close to me.
I will try my best to scan them and send them to you. i have about 8 picts i think. I was like a playboy photographer and the 500 was my subject..

Hi ya Dean...I was pissing myself when i was writing that! I went to my mum's house today as that's where my old comp is. A while ago I cleaned it all out( don't want anybody seeing my ladies neked picts ) anyway, I can't find the install cd for the scanner and was going to down load the driver. Well, my sisters dog chewed the fookin ethernet cable so I couldn't go online and download anything!! Stoopid fuckin' mutt! if ya wants you can wait till my sister buys an new cable, or you can pm me your addy and i can send them off to you..it's like 9 picts. You can then do what you want with them, scan, enlarge..let me know.

Obviously he would choose a cossie which is up to him .
There are actually some people you know who suprising as it may seem dont actually like skylines as much as other cars .

My mate got one to replace his almoststd reno5turbo, and within a few weeks hed got rid of the porker as the knackered old 5 turbo was faster n 10 times more fun
