mines radiant red 1.3...now a 1.6 cvh and yes its the original colour..and i picked it up from a mate round the corner....

gotta love base model escorts. The black bumpers look superb if u slam the car on some nice rims. My first car was a white 5door D reg 1.3 L. Had belonged to my grandma from new so had only done summit like 32k wen i got given it. I put smoked red rear lights on it, 17inch tsw evo r's lol, a peco back box, clear front and side indicators and a full jbl sound system. it was the brightest mintiest white car around. Will try and find some photos to scan sometime soon

it looks sweet as it is.
dont change a thing appart from the engine!
the only reason i fitted a spoiler on mine was coz it didnt look right without one because it is black!!
all my other bonus's have looked mental without spoilers.
here's my old 1.3 rs1300 i made up!
if you want a spoiler i have this v rare bonus 90 lip spoiler.

kewl rides also if i bought a 1.3 with the soiler+alloys+interior etc
but it had a cat 1 alarm and i did th extra 2 week driving test
would i be able to insure it?

The way it is in ur first few pics is cool as fcuk mate....love it!
Heres a pic of my pop i had, got it as a rolling shell and built it up how i wanted it, till it looked like this a few years back at Ford fair!!

well...looking round for a nice suspension kit or cheap coilovers...
rs brakes or cossy ones soon...

that looks like it has a good layer of paint on it.
ford scrimped a bit on painting my 1.3 bonus 1989 f reg.
they dodnt coat it much under the bonnet or under the carpet
