A good friend of mine is well into his Corvettes and a bit of drag racing, he built a nice road engine a few years back which performed really well up Santa Pod, he got his times down to a 10.3 which is not bad at all.

Recently he has ripped the engine out to give it a freshen up ready for next year.

The old engine made just over 500hp with the same sort of torque, he used around 300 hit of nitrous on the engine too, I doubt the power will improve but the engine certainly looks the part now.

The nitrous system isn't fitted yet except for the purge setup

Its crossed his mind but it makes way more than 700hp on gas anyway.

There is a possibility of another engine being done which will be nearer twice the current h/p.

Best thing about the car though is just how drivable on the road it is, still lethal tbh but usable

does that vett run in the se class at santa pod and avon park as iv seen it run a few times now nice quick vett aswell

I've seen a blown vette in red that runs at the pod that might be the one you mean
