(we'll refered to him as Paparazzi

Awesome pics! Especially the van and sidecar, that thing was REALLY shifting! 
Great trip as ever Andy, just a shame I didn't get a lap in the Evo, next time!

Excellent photos John.....spot on!!!
It was me driving the 21 Turbo - the damage was caused at Wipperman corners - I had Andy_R & Scott in the car - we had had a brilliant lap up until then - basically we came round the right hander & the back end properly came out for no reason at all - it slid down the track sideways but at the same time headed towards the armco just as we were about to hit the armco the angle of the car straightened & we glanced the barrier which caused the back door & wing to slightly scrap along the armco - we chucked some dirt out on the track & left a black line down the armco. We got back on track with the car smoking its nuts off (I thought I'd bent the back wing & the rear tyre was rubbing!) and carried on with the lap albeit a little bit slower than before. The smoke stopped after we'd got going & so we tried to tuck in behind another car at the exit but the marshalls clocked us - I then had to go back out with them to show them where I'd come off for them to say that I was ok & there was no damage!!
It turned out....we think anyway - that my top hose had split & anti-freeze and passed under the car & onto the back wheels causing the back end to let go - we cant really think of another reason as there was no other reason why the back end stepped out, I didnt lift off or brake - one of the Rings little mysteries anyway!!!
But still the passengers & the car survived & got me home......and I've got most of the parts to repair it anyway to all is good!!

So we taped & bodged it up - fixed the top hose......
....and went back out for more laps!!!
Comedy value band aid...

We visited a scrappy near the F1 track that morning, but no joy on parts! Edgar tried phoning various places for me but no-one could get the parts that day
Main Peugeot dealer wanted 140 Euros for Dizzy cap and Rotor Arm Fortunately Louise and Keiran were in Adenau getting cash out and they called in a parts place who also couldnt get the parts that day, but they could for 11am on Thursday at 65 Euros, so we went with that!
So we got home about 10pm on Thursday evening
A day and a bit later than planned Ah well, all good fun Would be good to see you at another Ring trip in the future - i'll happily take you out for another lap
