A cat got in the way
My girlfriend were driving the RS the other day... when a cat desided to ran out in front of me car... absolute no time to brake or steer... SLAM 
the good thing were, that she were only doing bout 25-30mph.. but still..

yup... Im just glad its wasnt a deer or something that size... but the car are being sat in for the winter this friday.. so its just typical that something like this happends 2 days before its being put away.

Bad luck mate
Me and a mate were out in his Pug once and hammering up our private lane when suddenly we spotted a great big fox just about to cross the road, he had no time to do anything and we hit it head on.
Bonnet, bumper, crossmember and windscreen all fucked within 2 secs
We dragged the fox down the road for about .5 mile just to make sure it was dead !
My worse fear of hitting anything on the road is a animal as you cant claim of it, that is ofcourse unless you track the owner down and then you can if they have insurance, but how likely is that !

well... the cat survived.. even after we felt the cat hittin the buttom of the car severel times.. we stopped the car and went back to the cat.. it just sad on the road breathing heavely.. with no blood og damages to the outside on the animal.. Its were only a bit kitten.. 
so we called, after a service we have here in Denmark, that come and pick up animals like this.. so we will never find out what happend to it..
kaplaybunny: im not the happiest man in the world.. but this gives me a opertunity to build me self a new bumber over this winter..

What about the cat. A few quid will fix your halfords bumper - same can't be said of the cat!
