the project we took on in april 99 was SO far from what we managed to get in the end its unbelieveable
the guy i bought it for for Ł1300 back then not running and cannot believe the difference and how its improved over the years.
again thanks for the kind words and comments

thanks guys, all good comments for the old girl still thanks !!!
got her running today, 1st time in a while lol
got mot booked for wednesday, will tax it 1/4/06. * passed too *
getting lots of "time wasters" with cash offers but then cant find the money again, must have huge holes in their pockets in which case they need to buy new trousers and not my S1 !
O well it only takes 1 genuine buyer to put it all right i suppose,

Hi,thinks its time for a update,
took the car out today for the first time since sept last year and flew through its new mot !!! nice
84809 miles recorded, when i bought the car in april 1999 it had covered 64064 recorded miles, car still drives great and picks up stronger than even with the cold air this time of year.
there are fresh '"today" pics on the thread in my sigi too
camera phone pics
but top day all in all !

the back end will be hopefully done by the end of the week too

Wonder what happened to this car? I see from this thread it was sold (too cheap - anyone remember what it went for?) so I looked it up to see if it was still alive - reg check says it's SORN'd and MOT expired in 2017
What's funny though is if you run the reg through the gov MOT website, the earliest entry is the MOT Matt mentioned in post #95: MOT in 2006 with 84,809 mileage recorded, just as Matt said. But look at the rest of the MOT history, the milage drops down to 70k a couple years later and it's last MOT in 2016 was 75k
