Well not everyone likes to follow the trend and be a sheep. If we all had the same thing it would be boring. I think im gonnae start up a club "THE non rst and cossie club"


For all you guys with Xr3i's (or any other Xr's) lets stand up and be counted for, they may not be cossies but theyr damn good fun to drive and very tuneable!!!

Here's the latest pics on my XR she is almost standard now, when I got her she was in a bit of a mess inside and out but Ive spent the last 5 months bringing her up to scratch.
only mods on her at the moment are, FSE valve, s/s exhaust, k&n induction, Performance leads, hi lift cams
With only 46k on the clock I think she could be one of the lowest mileage left but I dont know.

She's gonnae be at the Ford Fair this year (with a for sale sign in her ) as Im onto a new project soon.

























See what you think guys and anyone else with a 130 should get in touch as me and Grant (xr 130) are looking to see how many were made and how many are left

Very Nice Car i must say, but performance wise i never thought they really brought a smile to my face. If you de-catted it, nice filter, exhaust, a chip, it would start to move then, but for a 130BHP car they delivered the power in a very smooth way, not much of a kick to it.
But again its still a nice car.

I drive a Escos at the weekends and shows so its nice to have something a bit different that not everyone has on here. As its all cossies and RST's

Dont see many in this condition anymore

It must be the drivers in the other cars then cos I owned a 2ltr nova & there is no way on this plantet that a standard xr31 would have beat it, the nova once sat on the bumber of a Escos before the escos decided to go bang & spray oil all over my windscreen!!! Still now I own a cos I would never go back to the nova days but im just making a point mate that your xr3i would not kill a 2ltr nova

The only one listed i have experience from is the Pug 205 GTi 1.9.
Im afraid the Pug would make mince meet out of it. There incredibly quick.

Just remember people rst's weren't at all fast standard so i suppose we could say the same about them but do we??? I think you'll find the word is no,

So to set the record straight i'm up for it when i've restored mine at brunters or somewhere similar so anyone that has a standard rst and wants a go for a few quid put ya name down,

Oh and dougie car looks nice even though i've already seen the pics of it as i've got a pc full of them

This thread isny particularly for performance its the fact that its different from your average Cossie and RST as this site is dominated by them.

They may verywell be in a league of their own when it comes to performance but if we all drove the same car it would be a boring world.
