Default my 2wd saph ..... honest answers on what you think?

the pics are posted on the tiger stripe thread ... but i thought id post pics and get some idea's on your thoughts.

I had a mad 5 mins and put tiger stripes on the car.

they are not the greatest pics just taken outside my house after i had used it all week for work, but you get the idea

It looks like its off a 1988 fast car cover, a real trip back in time BUT im not sure on them ... they are growing on me but wondered what everyone else thought.

ha ha i think il be seeing how it goes if i dont come to grips with them they may well be coming off ... but we will see.

but thats why i posted it to see general reactions..

Also though im sprinting the car this year so roll cage delivered TODAY!! and ford motorsport seats and 6 points to go in also white square on door to come with number or numbers and another suck it and see sparco mud flaps so will post an update once these are on. and most prob back off ha ha

well it would seem the main thing that people are against is the wheels so in which case what wheels do you think wouls go??

i thin k it makes the car look hard and thats what it is, a hard quick track car. keep it like that.how did you raise the bonnet?

yeah i thought about getting these wheels re-done in matt black or anthricite!

as the wheels on it are old stil-auto's from back in the day.

i know its only a quick photo shop job but something like this ......

also i spaced the bonnet with some custom made bonnet spacers which i had made mate.

polly bushed everywhere and everything, gaz coil overs on 3 clicks from softest setting @ rear normal HARD @ front (very technical i know) thats it really and a nice bit of clutch riding

did 4 runs in total didn't change anything

13.007 with 0-60 4.68

13.300 with 0-60 4.86

13.201 with 0-60 4.81

12.756 with 0-60 4.36

Matty, dark rims would look way better mate.

Where did you go to record them times ? And what terminal speed are you getting ?

i think the colour is too "elegant" for the motorsport look same for magenta etc.

solid colours like blacks white etc suit the look better IMHO
