it's taking a long time to finish loading a page, but it's not giving me the db error

Im also having big trouble with the site its taking ages to put a reply up im with talk talk its always been fine scince i have changed from sky. I have done a virus check,cleared all my cookies , defrag ect with no joy just very very slow. I have checked on speedtest.net & its about the same as always is anyone else the same?
Keep getting the "database error" message and is taking ages to load pages.
Doing it from the Mac, the iPhone and from the PC. Only started in the last hour though. Only on this site as well, all other sites are nice and fast as always.

forgive me for being computer thick, but could it simply be the ammount of peoel who come online later in the evening that's causing these problems?

Thanks guys, I will flag this to the tech team but in the meantime please try logging out and back in as its obviously only a few users with this problem.
Just bought a gold membership last night so i could sell some stuff. but now since last night im getting the database error message when i try start a new thread. tried logging out etc but still no use.
