I'm fairly convinced that its not my internet thats the cause, I reckon its this site... As this never happens on any other websites.
When I click on a thread I want to read, it displays this...
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage
Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.
What you can try:
Diagnose Connection Problems
More information
Its not exactly the end of the world, but can be a bit annoying at times. Just a bit of feedback to the money men

I get a strange problem quite often that only affects two sites - both forums (one is this one, the other is avforums.com). I'll be browsing away quite happily, then all of a sudden PF won't work (I get the above message) and avforums.com just sits there trying to load, but only showing the background and nothing else, still trying to load, but never does.
The only way out of it is to open Network Connections, disable my LAN port, then unplug the power from the modem, leave it a few seconds, plug back in, let it start up, then re-enable my LAN connection on the PC. Sometimes this doesn't work and I have to do all the above again, then it works...
It's fucking annoying, but only ever seems to affect two forums I use - everything else works perfectly!

any way im on virgin and bt and its the same shit slow and not connecting through the day and night
its crashing me a hell of a lot of late, then takes about 5 minutes to gt back on again.
it also happens on another forum i use, ad funnily enough i happens at the same time.
if i cant get on one then i know full well that i wont get on the other, but i can still access the rest of the net perfectly easily.
just the annoying thing is it always happens when youve spent a while writting a reply or PM, then you loose the whole bloomin' thing
Someone told me it's Jay's fault!!
