No adverts on mine
They appeared with IB took over the site, as I predicted ages ago....
Anyway, get yourself the AdBlock Plus plugin for Firefox and block the fuckers!

You didnt think that after IB paid to buy Passionford forum that they were just going to sit and look at it did you ?
It is relevant product placement/advertising
PF is predominantly a car website and it follows that its members are into car related things !
IB sell advertising space to "relevant" companies and thats how they get a return on their investment

Thing is if nobody ever "clicks-through" then IB will lose interest as PF will no longer be a cash cow to them and who knows what they will then do with the database.
Anyone want to bet how long it is before "mass e-mails" and PM's are sent out to PF members by companies who pay enough to IB ?

Funnily enough, I was wondering about that last week. I'm not sure if its because I bought something on Amazon about 2 weeks ago. In the last week, I keep getting poxy spam adverts coming through my email filter

Like I said, install the Firefox plugin called Ad Blocker Plus (takes literally a min or two) and you can remove any adverts from any site/forum
