If I change my username to my company name, will I be classed as a trader? and therefore have to pay the fee?

I wont be trading, just me and a mate wil be setting up a PC in our workshop, and want a generic username, we cant offer to sell anything, etc, but thought I'd ask first...

 

Why cant you offer to sell ?

 

As we are a mechanics garage out in the sticks, doing local mechanics work and dont really sell any products, just provide a service. Getting into salvage next year too.


name of choice was D & Y Auto's, but wasn't going to change it then get on the bad side of people, so asked first.
