hi there , my gf has just bought her first car..

is a 1.3 t reg ka. nicelittle runner however a few points that need sorting .. the main one is there is a sort of whiring noise when it idles. it litterely is just as it idles and as you drive you dont here it .. or the sound goes away .. could this be a loose belt or a belt need changing ? .. also hard to explain but it jsut sounds liek its in time with the engine :S.. doesnt like whine its nuts of or anything ..

i think i spelt whirring right lol sorry if it isnt ..

any ideas would be grande cheers.

 

hi mate, could be the belts, or alternator they can wurr a bit . hard to say without seeing it really
