hi every one i have just brought an escort gti for a run around cause the turbo blow up again! the fuel gauge says its empty all the time what could this be other then the dials or pump/sender. is there any way of teating the dial or sender or would it just be a case of buying a new one?

Most likely a broken/coroded wire, if you can figure which is the sender wire just earth it, the gauge will then read max, then find the break whatever, most likely at tank end.
