Default Street KA uprated Brakes Need Help

Right im looking to up rate the brakes to a 280mm disks but would love 300mm from a mondeo st if im right was on pumaspeed web site witch do the conversions but was wondering if i could probably save money that i don't have and source the parts my self was just wondering if any one could give me some guidance on exactly what parts i mite need am i right in thinking that i will need 3mm spacer for the disks and possibly a bracket to hold the caliper higher up?

you need mondeo v6 calipers, and focus st170 disks, drill a 12mm hole in hub and bolt up, thats about it

Default cossie 4 pots and st170 front discs

i used cossie 2 wd 4 pots with a adaper plate from this guy

then you can bolt on 300mm st170 front discs but you need 17" rim to clear then use braided hoses

cost bout £400

you dont need 17" wheels for 3oomm brakes i had 15" with the st disks and v6 calipers

Yeah They do fit under 15" just, Youngdan has the same set up iirc

Depending on the wheel, you may need to shave a bit off the calipers. Mate has Mondeo brakes under his 15" Puma props, and they just foul. Only a little tickle to get it clear though.
