theres no rear fog light switch so i pressume theres no bulb/ location for one, should there be one to pass the mot? ive only just got it and im not very clued up on old fords

switch should usually be to the right of the steering wheel on dashboard, wont pass an mot without im afraid, chech behind where you see the 3 switches in the pic on you own dash and the wires/plug should be there, pick a switch up for a few quid off here or ebay

If it is a GERMAN SPEC right hand drive one and very early one it does not as standard have fog lights, my dads xr3 did not have them and was germna spec right hand drive in 1980.
The hole had a blank where the switch goes but all wires were there, and bulb holder just needed bulbs putting in and a small piece of wire joining the tracks together
