Selling my .243 Racing Downhill bike,
I Built this about 3 years ago, and broke both my arms the first time i rode it![Surprised](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bigcry.gif)
Kinda knocked my confidence and never really got back into it again. Its probably only had about 4 or 5 days out.
apologies if some of the wording or names are slightly out as its been a while![Surprised](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bigcry.gif)

Will possibly break if enough interest in bits,
I'll get pictures if anyones interested.
I dont know how to put a price on it as ive been away from the scene so long, and i know prices have dropped, cost me about 2k so im just gonna say offers.

Spec.
- .243 Racing DH frame, one of very few, so i believe, that has a BMX bottom bracket, i went for these as i kept destroying bearings in my previous bike. It was (not sure these days) one of the only Hardtails that was fully warentted for dual crown forks.
- 2002 Rockshox Boxxer Worldcup Forks, Black boxed by tim flooks many moons ago, probably need a service, but i loved the feel of them how they were. these have been painted, (not an amazing job) and have had 2003 decals fitted.
- chris king headset, in electric blue
- easton EA50 Stem
- Easton Vice Stem
- Aerial Industries hubs in electric blue built up onto Mavic D521 rims with DT Swiss spokes. built by ariel themselves with standard rear axle (should have the 12mm conversion somewhere) and 20mm Front (again, shoud have standard)
- climb8 6 pots with adapter for the fork mountings and bigger front disc to suit. Some damage to the brake levers - the screws that secure the resevoir caps have pulled the threads, i have just put a jubilee clip around themand they have been perfect since.
- Gusset Pigmy Cranks, some surface rust, should definatly clean up fine, Needs a new bearing kit as the ones fitted are the wrong size for the axel
- DK Iron Cross chainring
- Shimano DX pedals, studs are perfect
- Intense tyres, not sure what model, but a fair bit of meat left.
- rear single speed kit made up with cassete spares
- titec beserkyr Saddle, Comfy, lightweight and strong
- .243 racing seat post
- Yeti lockon grips
- will need a new chain - currently fitted with a bmx half link chain
collection only from middlewich cheshire
