Unhappy Ground wire help please

Hey i have a few questions

My amp ground wire has been fine but my subs have been adjusted for more bass so the vibrating has made it loose i think

What would be the best way to keep it still?

And the rubber bit on the end where its bolted down was warm is this normal?

Thanks, Matt

Try shake proof washers mate.
Or move it to an area with less vibration.
The heat build up problem should clear when the earth is secured correctly.

I do have it on the box I don't know where else to put it as the subs are firing at the seats and I have sorted the ground now aha I found a screw and a hold to bolt it and i think it is 2 gauge why?

What would you suggest for mounting the amp

Thanks, Matt

Was curious as to your cable gauge just to make sure it was flowing enough mate thats all , have you done the big 3 to get the most from your alternator ?

You will prob get a tad more bass by turning the box around as the front wave hitting the seat could turn to a standing wave and secure the amp to a plate on the rear of the back seats.

I have seen shitloads of amp failures all caused by pc board components being shaken loose due to vibration damage as a result of being screwed to the box.

Them JL's are screaming for a streetbass style slot ported box

Try the talk audio or streetbassers sites for the big 3 info.
A propper designed ported box will 100% def always be louder and deeper with no lack of musical ability.
Always happy to help with a box design mate.
Come to the big bass at the ace night March 3rd ( streetbassers site ).

Oh yea I forgot to ask what would you suggest for me to attach a sheet of mdf to the back of the seats it's a thin sheet of metal and I don't want to be able to feel bolts or screws from the otherside
