Lightbulb Which Head Unit Can Fit My Car?覧 Easily Make A Decision After 3 Steps

Plan to upgrade your vehicle but don’t know which car DVD player can fit it? What should you do?

There will be no worry about it again.
All is under your control after three easy steps.

- To Measure the size, one Din or two Din?
- To Check the ISO Port/Special Port.
- To figure out the working way of your steering wheel control.

Checking the Size

Firstly you should know what is “DIN
Most of the head units are sorted by “DIN”
One Din means “height 50mm”
Two Din means “height 100mm”
Take the tapeline and measure the height of the original radio.
Is it one Din or two Din?

Eonon has listed the length, width, height, installation size and the frame size for you to choose the perfect one for your car.

ISO Port or Special Port?

ISO is the international standard connection used by all radio manufacturers and fitted in all new radio harnesses (female ISO). When installing a radio these need to be connected (by push-fit) into an ISO male.

If you don't have an ISO connection as standard this isn't a problem. All you simply need is a harness adaptor (unique to your car model) to convert your car's standard radio harness to fit together with the ISO on your new radio.

So what is the Special Port?
As mentioned above, not every car model comes with the ISO standard connection, so some HU manufacturers launch the special HU with the port which can only be used to a specific car model. It is called the special port.

Steering wheel control (SWC)

There are two different ways for the steering wheel control works through: AD (analog-to-digital) and CANbus (Controller Area Net-work Bus). If your car has SWC and you want to enjoy it via HU, you should know which way of your car works through and choose the right HU.

For AD, there are several AD cables in the rear.

For CANbus, there is a CANbus decode box.

The above is the basic knowledge of HU; hope it will be useful for you.
Comments or questions are welcome, feel free to post~!

Size Port SWC Eonon Model
2 Din ISO AD D2208
2 Din Special for Ford AD D5105
2 Din Special for Ford AD A0505 (kit) + D2102
2 Din Special for Ford AD A0502 (kit) + D2102
2 Din Special for Ford AD A0501 (kit) + D2102

Is that possibly the worst photoshop of a "screen" onto the front of that headunit? Or do I need my eyes checked?
