i want to install a sony stereo in my mk1 focus,but i also want to use the ford focus stalk for the volume which that sits on the cowling.is there away i can connect it up to the stereo with out buying the adaptor kit

 

nope you have to buy the patch lead and the stereo has to be able to support stalk control input

i spoke to a guy at a car audio place about this and he said you can buy the adaptors and stuff but they often dont even work, but i think you can get em pretty cheap online. I was gonna get the adaptors but ive decided not to bother, as my head unit has a remote which is nae bad
