my uncle just bought a bike for the track and thought hmm wouldnt mind ago myself so ive been looking but how come so many come with no id at all to me that means there stolen as were talking about bikes only a few years old ? how can this be right

Some top bikes come direct from the manufacture so dont get a chance to be stamped. If you buy a frame from a dealer it wont be stamped. Also some bike are cat A&B write off's so the numbers have to be removed as they arent suposed to go back on the road. Aslong as you have a reciept for the bike and note on there that the bike has no numbers you should be ok.

what about if i brought a bike from a salvage yard the guy says it has numbers but no v5 or reg plate but he said thats how it came to them and he will give me a reciept ?
