Yeah I know what you mean, I need to ride a new blade tbh and see how I find them but in all honesty after jumping off something with over 200bhp I can imagine they will feel a little flat in comparison

There's more to it than that...
I got an irresistible deal that made more sense. I hadn't got to test anything yet and was doing the rounds. I decided I loved the GSXR million edition so looked at an online bikes for sale site and found a couple. Then thought I'd look at second hand prices to see how they go here.

The bike new was to be $17,000 new.

I found an ad for a 6 week old bike, done 311 km. Bike + R&G tail tidy, seat cowl and the Yoshi. Extras were $1,000. Guy was throwing in A stars boots(wrong size), jacket which is my size and summer short style gloves. That lot was another $1k. All in he paid $18,150.

Basically he traded a Harley for it, shat himself and put it up for sale

Mine for $14,500. Too much of a bargain not to buy. It'll sell for about the same price at 1 year old. Saved $2,500 and got a jacket and gloves. Sold the boots for $150.

I'm happy with it and it's very comfortable.

I was not going to even look at another ZX10 as I've done that and fancied a change.

I am toying with putting a Akrapovic can on my R6, l was intending to change it this year to the new 899 Ducati but the insurance is crazy Ł1800 when l am paying Ł259 TPFT . Next year l will change it for the 899 or 1199 or S1000rr

Fuck the bmw lol any 1000 is more than quick enough on the road the 1199 wins hands down in looks!

just because you have the "best" liter bike doesn't stop you being a slow fuck.

I'd have a zx10r/Blade over the BMW any day of the week btw

 

Always loved Ducati's the looks, noise etc, l would hazard a guess that very few people on this thread can ride a 1000 to its limits so l will happily settle for something that other consider not as good as another bike, as l will be riding what ever bike hard.

There's loads of quick people out there on 1000's but very few who can honestly ride them to there limit! If you can you should be racing in the tt lol
