what do people recommend? for my vfr for year round 20,000 mile per year use. thanks

that's what i thought when i put oe pads in earlier this year (didn't write in the service file, but must have been in March, about 10,000 miles ago), but they need replacing again already. is that normal?

not sure as i've never done 10k on 1 of my bikes lol, would seem pretty normal to me i suppose

I suppose it depends on how you ride. I assume if your doing 20k a year its a commuter? Ive just upgraded the pads in my gixer to carbon lorraine sbk5+ and have noticed an improvement for fast road use. No fade whatsoever, and seem to be a fair bit better than the OEM's. How long they will last i dont know, but they do seem noisier at lower speeds and at junctions, so maybe they wont last as long. You cant go far wrong with oem though if you want them to last.
