this is my mates 7 week old r6,he had a head on with a mondeo on the way to rothbury,this is the result,broke the tib and fib in his leg,just had a skin graft its gona be 6 months before hes right because theirs a half inch of bone missing from his leg

Good to see he's come away well from that considering! I presume he was wearing his leathers. He could have at least hidden his knob end!

was following a minibus pulled out to see if it was safe to pass and a mondeo was in a dip in the road hit it head on,hes hopein to be out of hospital by the end of the week

I was due to go out today for a good old blast with my m8's would of been about 25 of us
but I woke up with a funny feeling about riding today

Did he actually have his leathers on then and it wore through to the skin, or no leathers?

yes he was wearing one piece leathers and back protector also,the injury is just inside the top of his boot which had to be pulled off at the scene after giving him 3 types of painkillers,didnt help much though.

It's probability mate - the chances of being seriously hurt on a bike are far more than in a car. Not saying you can't or won't get hurt in a car but at least there's some metal round you.
