Then you have to take you test on a 125 and get a 33bhp license which means you buy a 400 (around 60bhp) restrict it to 33bhp, take it home, take the 4 poxy metal discs out from the inlets and carry on as normal

After 2 years you automatically upgrade to a full power license or as soon as you are 21 you can take your test on a bike with more than 46kw and have a full power license straight away

My GSXR750 was 850tpft @ 19, 9 points

The blade and R1 were uninsurable so motortrade policy it was then

Anything <600 will be semi sensible

GSXR 600
Whats the performance for this kinda bike? And how much to buy etc?

I was thinking you hardly ever see bikes broken down on the side of the road, are they pretty reliable?

All the Jap bikes are very reliable!!

Honda are the most reliable/best built

After the chocolate engined Honda VF's of the early '80s every Honda since has been over engineered and build like a rock

Get a 600 mate

Either Suzuki GSXR600 (Banzai nutter bike), Yamaha R6 (Again, nutter bike), Honda CBR600 (Nice, fast but usable), Kawasaki ZX6R (Sits in between the R6/GSXR and the CBR)

If you buy a 400 you'll be bored in 3 months.
At the end of the day, it's as fast as you let it be. You control the throttle!

You'll get a GSXR600 on about a P reg from around £2200 i'd say

If you only wanna spend £1500 you have to go for a 400 or an early CBR600 on around a J plate

Oh man you guys have a good choice in bikes! I love the Honda VFR's!

Those bikes just aren't allowed here we only get the usuall suspects...gsx,cbr, etc.etc...
I used to have a Ninja, one day waiting at the stop light..it turned green for me to go..put it in first..moved forward about 10 yards and from the corner of my eye I see something..I say Oh Shit.....then I woke up across the road my bike 20 yards from me....I was hit by some dude going through a red light and he took off about 3 months later when I was able to walk again, I went to my mates house where my bike was, put it back together and rode home!..my friends thought i was crazy for riding again.... I don't care. I'd love a R1!
