1/18th is the bigger size 1/18th means its 18 times smaller than the real thing.

The only MK4 Cortina I am aware of is a NEO and its a resin model with no opening parts. I could rep your car, but you wouldn't see an engine.
Longdog, no one makes an XR4i. Maybe lobby Otto and they might do one. You are a MM admin right ? I'm sure they have contacts in Otto.
