Default Rothmans Ford Escort MK2

Hi all,
I just found this site so I'm new here. Just wanted to say hello and share some pics of my rc escort. Hope you guys like it!
The body is from retroracing but the chassis is all home made....
I tried to do it like a proper escort( I had a 4 door sedan back in the day)..RWD with a live solid axle mounted on leaf springs, independent front suspension, motor up front in 'north/south' orientation mated to a tranny in the trans tunnel, with a drive shaft connected to the axle.
I also custom built the interior floor pan, dashboard and rear deck etc.
ohh...it's got working front disc brakes as well !

Here is the build thread ( hope I'm allowed to link here) .. Will post up some pics as soon as I figure out how to do so!

http://www.scale4x4rc.org/forums/showthread.php?t=71407

Cheers!

Sorry, not anymore...I bought this shell from retroracing in Finland a few years ago, but their website no longer exists. I have seen them on eBay , however, but not sure if there are any more available ....

Hey thanks Glen!
Too bad these bodies are no longer available...can't even find then on eBay anymore....

On a brighter note...I started my first scratch built body recently..a Holden Overlander....basically it's a Holden Kingswood SL estate on a 4 wheel drive chassis...will be starting a thread on it soon. If it turns out good, I want to try building a Ford Capri mkIII.
