used to be quite heavily into them but since my kids have been born ive been too skint to enjoy the hobby

 

Funny you should say lol ive just dug mine out and taken them to work as we are a bit quiet at the mo and given them a going over and got them running lol. I have a schumacher menace 4x4 with a size 21 engine in it and a kyosho macca f1 4x4 with a size 12 engine in it. To be honest the kyosho is the more fun too as the menace is just to fast unless you are in a field so it has room! ill get some pics

Anyone selling a Hobao Hyper?

 

I've got a hyper 7, 5.9cc HPI big block out of the savage XL, locked centre diff, wider track from the Hyper ST, lowered gear ratios, the thing is a hoot! Only really used it a couple of times so far this year, just sits in the shed gathering dust.

 

How strange ths post appears.
Just got my old nitro car out, new switches and servos.
Time for a drive tomorrow.

I am pretty much the same as you chaps just dont seem to gert the time these days to use the damn things I walk past them every day and it is getting top me the fact that they are just stood there doing sweet FA.Note to ones self I MUST MAKE SOME TIME FOR THE TOYS.

The problem with these things is that you seem to spend ages setting them up,cleaning,fueling,charging all the bits and bats up ready togo and then find you play for a few mins and sxxt the thing goes wrong. The proper car takes less TLC

that had a .28 engine and was running on 50% race fuel

and i did have a buggy of some type i bought for Ł10 just to hammer, that went into rivers over all sorts of jumps and got really fooked up
