So off came the original steelies, and on went the RS500 wheels!



Tyres were slightly too big though, however...



SORTED!
Then it was time to move onto suspension... this looks okay...

Escort looks good, how did you manage to camber the front wheels?

 

Na mate casts I think I know how to get em off now

 

when i put the washers on the front, they brake discs caught on them, so it cambered the front wheels, they look good AND the wheels still turn, which is a bonus! no stuck up crap here!
these came through my postbox today...

so i now have a full set (and one extra, and i couldn't resist trying them on!
please ignore the paintwork in these pictures, it's a complete mess...thats what you get for buying cheap paint stripper!



don't worry though, i'll be trecking to b&q very soon to get some nitromors!

Bit of an update tonight...
Been messing about with the interior :


Then put a spoiler on, and did some painting on the boot in a 'ratty'/'messy' font


I then chucked some more of the cheap, crappy paint stripper on(still isnt done yet), and threw it together for a final picture or two:


And started sanding the other door down ready for paint, it's getting there now!

Slapped some paint on to get an idea of the overall look... and i don't think it looks too bad!
Still a long way to go yet, but you get the idea!






Some milliput will sort out all the extra wholes, but what do we think so far lads?

Well, today, i got my new display cabinet, so it really inspired me to get on with this....and i finally got it finished! I decided to leave the sanded down bits as they are, as it adds to the overall look of rat-look!
