if you dispalying 1/18th scale, argos did a cd rack which was wooden with glass shelves. the cars fit on a treat! Ł 45 each and they hold 8 cars. look nice too

ikea cabs and u can add 4 more shelfs so ive got 24 cars in each cab

4.6mm wire rope clamps from B&Q with some draw stoppers on and the glass cut to size sits on that

That sounds like a good idea will have a go at doing that to mine save me buying another one.
