model painter wanted!
I'm fairly new to the model scene and have been collecting 1/18 models for about 4 months now and have got around 30 mainly minichamps escorts and autoart subarus. I would now like to replicate my own road car by fitting other wheels and spraying the car another colour as I cannot find the my car model in the colour I need. I don't really want to start pulling things apart and painting it myself so I would rather get someone who knows what they are doing. Does anyone on here paint cars for others like myself or can anyone reccommend anyone? I can supply the base model. Any help appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks.
What model do you want painting?
Most are easy to take apart & painting isnt hard if you take your time over it. Its part of the fun & enjoyment of it.
I made a replica of mine. Luckly you can get a Focus ST in 1/18. It may only be plastic rather than diecast, but it better than nothing. Its on its 2nd paint job as the 1st one wasnt that good. This one isnt either but can always buy another.

Cheers for the replys guys.
The model in question is an 1/18 Audi RS4 Avant, Minichamps only do them in red or silver. I also want to change the wheels while this is being done. Where can I find a good selection of 1/18 wheels to match the ones on my car?

Im having a wild guess and going for either BBS LM's or more likely CH's, both can be bought in various sizes with various tire profiles etc

about £30 a set though

stripping the model down and prepping it for paint is time consuming but very rewarding once done. I would be prepared to do it for you if you supply all the parts you want fitting and the paint, i would charge between £20-30 to do depending on the amount of work envolved.
