Started on this Mk3 Escort a few days ago.Still a fair bit to do but i had a mishap with the drill so it's set me back but it gives the idea of what im looking for.
Interior stripped to fit single bucket/harness along with a Sparco steering wheel & Focus rally gear shift & pedals.

My fav part so far the deep dish Ronal Turbo rims
![](http://i455.photobucket.com/albums/qq276/fordmodelbuilder/100_1615.jpg)
I had to carefully get the ride height right as it was so low the base of model was sitting on the ground & the tyres were raised off the floor
![](http://i455.photobucket.com/albums/qq276/fordmodelbuilder/100_1618.jpg)
Then this is the fook up,drilled two holes to exit tailpipes & drill bit snagged ripping off doors & tailgate![Wall](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/wall.gif)
![](http://i455.photobucket.com/albums/qq276/fordmodelbuilder/100_1617.jpg)
So may try again with a slower speed drill or get a new model & start again.

loving that mate, splitter is cool, simple and sweet, looks like a golf vr6 one
try black fablon for the bonnet, with a bit of time it does the job alright, not permanent though. i covered my sierra in white fablon a while back to see what it'd look like painted and looked alright for a temp thing, should last on a bonnet though
