apologies if this seems like a silly question but i keep seeing pleanty of threads with car model pictures,
i have built several formula one cars from tamiya,
i was wondering where you buy yours from and what company?

hi, i buy just 1.18 scale road cars mainly fords and get most of mine from ebay (trying to get a bargain) but there are plenty of web sites that do them

if you mean plastic 'from scratch' kits, tamiya and fujimi tend to be the best for the money, revell and airfix etc being cheaper and less detailed.

if you mean 1/18 diecast (which most of us have) autoart, kyosho, sunstar, minichamps etc are all decent brands- but even cheaper brands like bburago and maisto can be made into something nice if you have the time and skills
