Bit off scale and topic but I took this pic (phone camera) on xmas eve from the back of my trailer overlooking a breakers yard while backloading in Tottenham...escort graveyard

Its a different kit from the Mk1 (only slightly) actually for the MK3, yes I got it from germany along with a MK1 kit I am building too.
Paint is good old halfords rattle cans, plenty of dust coats of primer, colour and laquer, all sprayed in a heated shed and then cured.

i remember now,its a white car on ebay.looks a awsome model.
i use halfords aswel but dont use laquer,maybe i should start.
u got any pics of the mk1 your doin??

well cuz im a sad cunt i avnt been out tonight i did some models.
been workin on the s1 & i finished it
well nearly
but its on display
some pics
just need to do exhaust & airbox & abit of paint on the grill.im already thinking the wheels aint goin to last long b4 they get changed
im gettin through the abandoned models at last lol,my mk1 estate is ready for paint aswel
wat ya al reckon????

I stayed in as well ! spent about 2 hours this afternoon sprucing up my Xsara WRC engine bay...
Hope you like it , its not turned out to bad considering the poor quality Sunstar mouldings !

My modified Sunstar Citreon Xsara WRC engine , tried to take away the boring black and silver and add a bit of colour ! Maybe not totally accurate but i think it looks OK

Its a breakers near West road , opposite the bakery at Hotspur ind est.. 2 mins from Tescos and Ikea just off the A406..its a council run crush em if it aint taxed kinda place ! BUT the racking at the back always has 4-5 MK1 escorts .wide arch mexico looking cars..he could be a breaker or a banger racer that rents part of the yard.

thanks mate,these are the wheels i was goin to tell u about but not sure if goin to change yet,i was thinking of doing some sort of a deal for tha nissan u got but i only got the wheels from the 16i left,i put the rest of the stuff on my blue escort.
if i changed them ill let u kno the up for grabs

Finally got dads new camera working, I had a lot of pics to do.

Will be glueing it together as it doesnt look right then maybe eBay for this one.
Escort Cabrio (Ford Moondust Silver)
Re-did this one as wasnt happy with the finish last time.
Escort Cabrio (Genuine BMW Mini Electric Blue)
Love the colour of this. Cant get it in Hycote & I dont think Halfords do it either.
Supervan (Gloss black & Electric Blue metaflake)
Wasnt too sure how this would turn out, but, im realy pleased. Took ages to find all black wheels that suited it.
RS200 (Ford Colorado Red)
The biggest wheels Matchbox do & they still look small. Not bad model, car was only 99p posted.
Focus WRC (Ford Mallard Green Pearl)
Majorette are skimpy with their detail. This one doesnt have an interior.
Transit (Vauxhall Arden Blue Pearl)
Replica of my 1/18 version.
