gave the 3dr its base coat of silver today and sprayed the wheels also



1st half of the car will be staying silver but the rear end wont be

 

ive no idea what its gonna be nice one mate,

Changed the fount seats and painted the rear ones, Boot install is a work in progress. lol

Been busy today,got my Mk3 Escort finished.Heres a few pics sitting on Ronal Turbos,inside single bucket seat,sparco wheel,Focus rally pedals & gearshift,rear strut brace.Single wiper,Focus rally car door mirrors,rear wiper rempved.I originally was going to have the exhausts exiting from the rear number plate panel but didn't go to plan enjoy the pics,any comments good or bad

Made the front lip spoiler with black card looks the part though.
Also made mudflaps with black card

Im waiting for the release of the mk3 Capri's,i already have the blue/silver 2.8i i got from Germany but would like the black/silver rhd version.What have you got planned for the red Escos ?

 

Just a change of wheels. Cant think of anything else I would change on a Escos. Might put one of mm's motors in.

Always wanted a black/silver Capri, keep seeing one round here.

well pissed off, was now gona make some black and silver number plates for my escort mk2 estate and the site i go on have been blocked cause off copie right do anyone know any more sites i can get on would be good if u did??????

 

duno if any off ya have seen them but model motivations have got 2 sets of alu 4 spokes on ebay for Ł28, i just now got some, fort it was a right good bargain

 

You could give this ago,this is how i make my number plates.I go on 'paint' on my pc,you can select the size of letters (i use size 12) then select the colour,draw the outline edge of plate then use colour to do the background,then print off onto normal paper,i then put selotape over the front then use double sided tape to stick the palate onto a piece of thin card then put a piece of double sided tape onto that then place on model.

i copy and paste them on to paint then just high light the plate and transfer them on to work and resize the to 2.89 cm long i also ten to batch print them on thin white card

finaily decided on the wheels, stuck with the last set i tried, so painted and fitted now so no changing them lol, this is the ride height i thought looked good too. oh and the new avo
