well i want to start building a extension later this year on back of house, this is were i will fit a larger display, im lucky enough to get a wall cabinet fitted in hallway for now.

 

As you know, my modeling is a little different (lego stigs, matt black dub minis, matchbox cars) & this one is no different. Orignally wanted to do this in 1/18 but I couldnt find 2 identical Mini's.

I started with these, 2 1/43 Corgi Mini Cooper's with CooperSport wheels & arches.




The first Mini was easy, just a simple rub down and re-spray in Rover Amaranth pearl & Ford Moondust Silver.




Also did something different for the interior, I flocked it in black.




The second Mini was a little harder.




After that was smoothed & painted, I put it back together.






It still needs the rear lights painting on & a spare wheel on the trailer.

If anybody can make some boot decals & silver Cooper stripes for the bonnet and side, it will finish it off nicely.

This has taken about 6 months of on & off (more off than on ) to do but im well happy with it.

This was my insperation, a Mini I saw on PistonHeads.

 

As the weather was good-ish today, I finished off 1/8 Stig.

i forced myself out to halfords today for some clear laquer and laquered the scooby, and repainted the passenger door on the skyline cos it'd went funny somehow. now im busy trying to make something to attach the wheels to cause its got no axles or suspension lol

first picture makes me realise how badly i need a new desk lol

nice mess pete, know how u feel my dinning room table was not visible last week but i have now been stopped using it as a workbench as it is getting ruined. all my stuff is now down in the cellar. i can now make as much mess as i like but its boring down there as got no telly or pc , well not yet lol!!

 

well i got a flat panel monitor you can have for the cellar mate , remind me next time your up and ill dig it out.
we forgot about the video camera you wanted too last time you were here.

this is one i have in my hall. my dad done it when he was at art collage for a project anbd gave it to me last year after years of begging. it has been done with a airbrush.great talent he has shame it never got passed down to me..

my whole study is now full of parts and cars every where.
even have a 2 post lift sitting on top of my printer
showroon on the floor , keep tripping over it.
cant fit another model on my shelves so will need to take a trip to b&q tuesday.
only good thing is my monitors are wall mounted and out the way!

my dad signed it just under the rear tyre and thing is his name is the same as mine (family tradition) so looks like i done it lol!!

 

i started something like this with a rear end of a mk1 escort twin cam a had that was destroyed.
made the rear end into a trailer , will have to find it as its in the shed somewhere under 2 tons of resin dust.....lol
the front end is being converted into a sofa for the showroom.

 

resin dust ha ha, we need to invest in some dust extractors. been looking today.
my cellar is starting to look like its been snowing down there.

totally agree with you on that matt , i have both and the 2 post is pucker.
love the fact it actually winds up and down and the crank key has its own place under the floor of the list , well worth the money imo.

just a quick update on my bm' project!! pics will be up soon as the engine and sound dydtem arrive and have been fitted!! mirrors arrived today and will be fitting them the same time as the engine and sound system, cheers steve and dave they were much better than i expected

i have every arcade game made since they began think it is around 1400.
they are the exact games too not aftermarket jobbies.
spent 5 years building an emulator for the proper game cards.
when you click on a game it is like you have just turned on the real machine it goes right through the boot process......lol
