dave u still up for doing the sunstrips for my pilot and yacco escort's mate and them wheels do look sweet dont they i didnt realise them 8 spoke 1s were so wide they stick out a little at the front on the sierra still look cool though are they painted in the same paint as the 1s on your scoob as they look matt not shiny

heres my lancia, how it started;

stripped the paint, smoothed out some bits i didnt like (roof vent, arial, side repeaters etc) and made the evo2 rear spoiler and a laguna style front splitter.

have had to make some new wing mirrors too cos i didnt realise they were plastic and the nitromors melted them lol will be painting it bright yellow later in the week, and black or anthracite wheels

if u cut down the bit of tube on back of wheel so that it doesn't stick out futher than the brake disks then glue remainder of tube to disk it will sit back bit more.u can then glue back of disk to car. thats what i usually do!

ive had a lancia delta stripped down for 6 months. must get round to finishing it or should i say starting it lol.thats what the rally wheels are from.

thats what ive done bud it looks ok though just a smidge proud but i can live with it i even hacked off the full hub on the car lol

lol there wasnt a mark on mine, it was mint, but one day i was bored and decided to try and take off the livery - which worked untill all the black bits reacted and melted into the paint lol was gutted


Alan, how do you attach your wheels mate? do you hack up the hubs rather than the wheels? if so, let me have the front hubs off ur impreza and ill give you my already hacked up ones! lol!

no i cut the back of the wheel off normally and then glue the disc to the hub but as these wheels were wider i cut the hub off too on the sierra lol

ahh i get ya lol ive got a couple of cars with literally nothing to attach wheels to, got no idea how im gonna do it, probably end up sticking them on metal axles like them daft plastic powco cars lol

the scoob wheels were metalic silver centres.
your ones are matt . i dont have any glossy grey. will have to get some.

by the way i could make some of them wheels for the rs500 u were on about.
they are just standard cossie wheels stuck in some of the chrome outer rings of the wheels i sent u. i got some on my sierra

take off the tyre and get a bloody small brush. to bigger brush and u will put to much paint on and it will run.

pete the red rx7 that seller had was the kyosho 1 but they had changed the spoiler to a wing put the wheels off the f+f supra on it and put yellow bucket seats in lol

piece of piss mate take the tyre off completley and the wheel seperates so even if you have to dig a small screwy in the damage is hidden by the tyre i used a stan-lee blade to seperate them lol

i thought about it i put them on the scooby this morning that they were for and they didnt look right then i thought about them with a red lip and dont think they would suit i didnt want to tread on dave's toes though putting them on ebay incase he thought i was being a c**t which im not i didnt think he would want to buy them back so thought ill just put them on for what i paid and if i get that ill be happy im gonna buy a set of the deep dish 3dr rims from him and put them on my rs500 rep and th egrey 1s on the 3dr now on the scoob and im after another set of the 1s same as on my 16i in gloss black with red lip and then thats it lol
