Default anyone got a trade policy?

currently i have access to 4 vehicles, 3 i own and 1 is the wifes.

of the 3 i own i have 2 policies (bought the 3rd car tonight and not yet insured).

should i get another policy and have 3 on the go or look at a trade policy? my current 2 policies are a total of about £7-800 per year, i'd guess my new car would be around £350 taking the grand total to over a grand.

all opions gratefully received

just remember in event of a claim on a trade policy not only will you get trade value on your car but you will also have to prove you have premises that you trade from and will have to have reciepts etc... to prove you are actually a trader
my traders policy is £4500 a year but has all my business, tools building cover plus public and workers liability plus the few times ive had to claim have been sorted no problem and quickly, whearas i have friends with "cheap" trade policys who have had no end of struggles with claims
you get what you pay for

If you're not a trader don't get a trade policy! A friend of mine has a multi car policy and can add and remove cars as he wishes, this is what I'd be looking at

Definately the right way to go! Trade policies generally ask for proof of trading as the insurers have got wise to this little loop hole. Try people like Admiral or Heritage MultiCar Insurance (0845 373 4773). No promises but they seem pretty ok....
