Wanted help with insurance
Evening all,
i have just joined this group whilst looking for insurance for a ford escort!!
I am a new young driver and was just wondering if anyone on here could tell me all the the types of escorts i could get insured on at reasonable rate.
Obviously i know i am going to be looking at something with a small engine but im told a diesel could be cheap? Also does anyone know what insurance would be like on a mk4 1.3/4 van?
Basicly after speaking to someone who knows a bit about the situation.. Maybe someone who has been insured on an escort at young age themselves? Or someone who can supply a decent list for me? Look foward to your replys guys many thanks

Insurance should be resonable on the mentioned 1.3/4 van, you haven't said what sort of Escort you are looking for. The last of the Escorts were the Mk5/6, insurance on 1400 Zetec shoulden't be bad.

Under 21? After something 1.6 or above, I'd seriously think again!
What you might also find interesting is, just because it's an older car doesn't mean it will be cheaper on insurance, in fact sometimes they are the same price, if not more.

to be honest if your young you aint gonna get the best of quotes no matter the car
the cheapest quote you will get is for the smallest enigne with the lowest level of cover with the lowest spec sadly as a yound male you will be paying through the teeth which is sadly unfair but the harsh reality of the subject
