New Goldeneye on the Wii!
Found out about this earlier today so went out and got it! apparently v similar / on par to the absolute classic N64 version!
Havent opened it yet.. but there must be some N64 veterans on here up for multiplayer carnage!?
I got the bling gold controller too... cheese city!
Go buy it now!

never beat the old n64 goldeneye, spent many a hour playing that game on multiplyer . even the game was a cunt to finish on 007 difficulty. best fps ever imo.

Dave, have you played it yet ? Your the only person I know with the game so I'd like an honest review before I go buy a wii and the game. Like many others I loved the game and whooped my m8's on the mulitplayer

Good man, I saw a trailer for it in Sainsbury's the other week and it flooded me with nostalgia lol. I had the gold controller on the N64 so that is a must for the Wii if it's good.

I went and bought a red wii and the game and classic controller yesterday as I loved the original, which I still have.
Been playing through the first few missions and although it's ok, I just keep finding myself thinking the N64 one is better. In the old N64 one you can pretty much free roam about in the missions but the Wii one you have to go where your supposed to go.
The story is obviously totally different. From what I've gathered over press releases it's supposed to be a 're-imagining' of Goldeneye as if it were made in 2010.
Don't get me wrong, it is a decent game but I think I'm always thinking of the N64 version while playing it and miss the sounds of the game, the controls and the general feel. I wish they could just have brought Goldeneye out on the online Wii store the same as they have with old Marios, Zeldas etc. It would have been spot on if they had changed nothing!

very true!
finished it on all difficulty levels thoguh.. including doing a few levels with jsut headshots.
still weighing up whether to bother getting another wii just for this new one... get playing and tell us what it's like!

Well I had a quick go last night on single player... V good
