Did anyone see this programme last night?!

Wow! I knew some areas of Kilmarnock were bad, but some of the goings on the show were unreal. I've been in plenty of bad areas in Glasgow, but I've never seen such blatent disregard for other people and their property . And to think these people have a right to vote........

Thoughts?

drugs , police , poverty , and buckfast

Watched it a lad i work with stays in that scheme (onthank) we have been slaggin him all day callin him marv & askin how bullet is if you went to every town im sure there would be one area that could paint a similar picture

 

Yeah i saw it i thought it was good but was just like where i live really but think there are bad areas everywhere and some people are just unlucky and have to stay there because they cant get a house anywhere else.
I was shocked at the size of the houses though they were really big for council houses. but if i,m totally honest i didnt think kilmarnock was as bad as that as i have relations down there but must be a different part cause its not as bad as the place in the programme xx

I know it well though, done a paper round in it when i was 14 or something. Full of junkies, neds, toddlers running around the streets at midnight and stuff.

The Cunnighams (one that got the jail for calling someone a "bin laden bastard" ) are a well known family, all of them are nutjobs, wouldn't cross them really but just your stereotypical junkie/alcoholic/theiving/council estate family.

Was a great programme though, i loved it, just doesn't do Kilmarnock any favours as there are plenty of good areas and people live here. Like most towns.

 

Even Dunoon has areas like that..........

Very true indeed - I'm sure most towns/cities have similar areas. Was just pretty shocking to see it on TV, although I did laugh when the 5 year old girl called her sister a mongo

Was going to post a thread about this earlier. Pretty entertaining to watch, but sad too. Just goes to show how people stuck in a cycle like that have pretty much no chance in life. Pisses me off seeing things like that 5 yr old girl getting taken to school late just because her fat cunt sister/mum can't be arsed to get up. Then they complain about them not achieving anything when they're older? What a bunch of thick cunts.

Same for that 20yr old ned with the parents that sat there complaining about their kids ending up in trouble, yet he got away with anything. I know he's 20 but he's living under their roof, and it's fine for him smashing up someones car and threatening to stab people?! They didn't even say anything to him! They're clueless.

 

Ohwell just tried to watch it on iplayer, but i need subtitles, i just cant follow the accent , really aint got a clue what they are saying! Everyones just mumbling

Thing that gets me they are all supposedly on benefits etc, yet you can guarantee they all have a big telly. Thought it was funny how the camera men sometimes focused on the TV's and even farmfood bags lol

What gets me is that there were 2 girls on the programme that were ok Dana who got preggers with teh junkie with the dog and that blonde one with the kid jsut a pity she smoked too much Tell you what they could do alot better for themselves god knows why they go with such losers

 

pity to hear about the dog mind its probably better off dead than staying with them

Funny as sht though as they dont see anything wrong lol but it does show how inept our police are and the courts the guy only got 8 months why the hell did he no get teh full 12 or better still lock him up throw away the key we would be better off...

Junkie fucking scum. Shocking that this way of life is seen as acceptable and that the BBC will glorify it in an attempt to make yet more low cost programming. All seem to be quite well off as well, glad my hard earned taxes are well spent.
