I've done Prodrive too and you would be surprised at the differences in the way they work

The Prodrive tour has more to it on the engineering side of things because they do lots of different things and not just Subaru rallycars at the time, no idea if they are doing anything for rallying these days. Prodrive also have a very impressive museum I never understood why Subaru weren't more successful in rallying after seeing the levels that Prodrive went to, the way M-Sport approach things seem to be a simple effort which makes it less to go wrong I suppose.

I loved both though, it's just a shame M-Sport is so far away for me.

Go to M-Sports website & click on the tours. Send Julia an Email & she will email you with a form & dates. They are every Tuesday & Thursday from 5.30pm. I was told there needed to be a min of 10 but on out tour there was just 4 of us. Price is £20 per person.

The tour consists of most part of the factory. We went in the fabrication room, engine room, walked along the factory floor & saw the new Fiesta S2000 & Mikko's & Jari's Sweden cars plus got to us close & inside Ken Blocks Focus. Sadly no pics were allowed of insid ethe factory.

I did the Prodrive tour a few weeks ago. And have to say it is amazing, and would recommend it to anyone !!
The amount of work and expertise in that place, and the amount of different motorsport and other areas they are involved in is truly amazing.
And they arent shy about showing you about either.

I'll definately be going back again !!

Does the M-Sport tour take you around the workshops, or is it more of a museum type setup ?
How much is it ?

Nice one mate who ever takes you on the tour ask them to tell you the story of Malcolm buying a Mk1 Esocrt from Portugal & making room on the wagon & his RS500 he's got tucked away.

You'll hear some interesting stories.

Enjoy.
