Default convert 4x4 saff to 2wd ???

what is needed is it a big job ?

any help would be good

if you're starting from a shell it's a piece of piss, need a 2wd front subframe, 2wd front hubs ( i have some 3 door ones for sale ) 2wd rear beam, 2wd sump, thats about it i think?

And a T5 gear box, 7.5 inch diff, larger half shafts, larger stub axles, 4 pot calipers, different prop, different exhaust as the 4x4 crosses under gearbox, solid rear disk and callipers, brake master cylinder is different, aswell as what is listed above

cheers chaps, all i was thinking was, do the gearboxes mount the same, the mount, gearlever ect

the rest i can do, just dont want to have to start cutting and welding a shell !

you got yasen a saff jimbo? if you have good one for making a man wheel drive,err a mean rear wheel drive.

and them bit's aswell

the 4wd master cylinder is different but better to use really as the master cylinder is further away from the turbo/exhaust,

the gearbox cradle is different iirc? but will bolt striaght to the floor, no welding or cutting needed mate

not got one yet on the look out, and wondering if i get 4x4 it shouldnt make a difference

man wheel drive ftw mate should be fun on the road with a nice round 500hp eventually

o i you'll love it owd lad,i got mine back t'other day and immediately kicked its head in on a r/b,thing is you get overexcited and start getting closer to the kerb....

i asked your ol fella the same question before i got mine,but ended up with a 2wd fitted with a esc cos motor.....best of both worlds!

didnt think you would have the bollox for a 2wd lol

iv allways said 2wd saphs are by far the nicest and most entertaining to drive

Jimbo, you will need this part number: 6177696

That cradle is a direct replacement to fit the 2wd box into a 4x4 tunnel...... the mount sweeps up very close to the speedo cable, so the best way to sort it is to drill a small hole into the mount and pass the cable straight through into the speedo drive....

Apart from that it`s a piece off piss

you sir, are a star would av been a pisser me holding up a t5 trying to get that all bolted up will have to get one

from fords then ? what is it off ?
