Default Wow Amazing what you find out.

I first like to say a MASSIVE thanx to massivewangers as he reckonised the car ive just bought so i did a bit more digging and found loads of stuff its had done, i thought it was a standard 1.8 si that i got cheap but just found out its had:
2ltr throttle body
Evolution chip with remap
kent 1802 cams
kent vernier pulleys
Its got rolling road print out (pics underneath)
Plus lots of other work which must of cost a bomb. It was supposed to be in fast ford in 2006 (april 2006 issue 238) but not seen mag so not sure, Gunna try and fing out a bit more see if the guy that owned it is on here, cheers and thanx for looking

Good news mate, but as the standard Si has 115bhp, and yours is well over that, imho im surprised you didnt notice it wasnt standard.

The main reason i didnt really notice is because ive literly just come down to this from a 2.5 v6 calibra which was slightly modded and boy was that fast, me and the missis said this lil car was nippy anyway i love the escort and now ive found this lot out its worth spending time and money on. I love finding stuff out like this lol

Thats why my reply started "My old Si and was setup and mapped by motorsport developments in Blackpool"

Then I go onto say "Was a very good car when I had it as it was my show car, but I wanted a RS2000 and thats why I got rid"
