What sort of person steals a childs toys from the garden?

Was chatting last night to a friends friend who seems to have the worst neighbours possible. She watched from her window as her neighbour lifted the kiddies trike over the little chainlink fence and take it inside. FFS you leave things in your own back garden and your neighbours rip you off . The following morning she went outside to hang the washing out and asked theneighbour had they seen anybody about as there were a couple of bits missing from the garden. They replied they hadn't seen anything but the gypsies had come knocking the previous evening asking if they had any scrap and it was probably them. She know's full well it was her neighbour but doesn't want to say anything because of her kids and any fall out that may occur as a result.

Unfortunately the family are quite large and well known for not being the nicest bunch about

A mate is sorting out some proper fence panels etc at cost and we're going to erect a 6ft fence. Gutted for her as she's a single mum and trying her damnedest to look after her kids, doesn't sponge and works every hour possible to do what she can and it doesn't leave her a lot of spare cash . Her scummy neighbours claim for everything and drink their giros and live in the house rent free while behaving like total arse holes.

Yeah scum,sooner that fence goes up the better,as long as they font start damaging or even nicking the panels that is!

 

try getting in touch with the council,if there are enough complaints about them ,they will evict the shit

 

Contact the council, she may be able to get a grant towards/full cost of the fence.
Respect to you and friend for helping this lady out, nice to see people like this about still.
Just to lift her spirits a bit if she picks a trike from the ARGOS catalogue, I will happily pay for it for her, just pm me your addy/someones addy to send a cheque to, or I have paypal.

Mate that really is beyond decent of you . One of my other mates thought along the same lines and the trike has been replaced (not sure if she's been given it yet), but thank you all the same

She has spoken to the council but as there is a chain link fence in place they say their duty is covered and they're not willing to even contribute to the fence . My mates and i have decided we're just going to sort it between ourselves for her. Half my lot are in trades so have contacts and we'll go in mob handed and get the fence sorted for her.

 

Id the new bike with either an etcher or Uv pen. If that one goes missing report it to the police.

Shame even neighbours do that to one another.

 

There's not wanting to cause trouble and opening the window and saying "what the hell are you doing??"

The embarrassment of being caught doing that would've gone a long way I suspect!!

 

I doubt people like this know the feeling embarrasment.

just like my neighbours..they let their kids play football outside wen they not suppose to..as soon as the ball hits the car i get it the ball,take it in doors,and say to the kids,if they want it bk to get their parents to cum and ask for it,if its not claimed bk within 24hrs i cut the ball up and post it through their letter box..kids are gona learn down this street......

thats shitty, im the opposite though, my neighbours have my little ones bike in there garden aswell as other large toys stored in there shed,,,, not to mention i always gatecrash there bbq's

though i aint started stealing there stuff yet

 

Letter/cheque done all ready to send off in morning, if the post office hasn't washed away, shit it's seriously raining here, knocked out my heater/hot water in house, water got through the balanced flue all over inside of heater, oh well more bloody money!!
